on december 31, 2021, the highly concerned projects of the organic silicone company's 300,000 tons of organic silicone and the fluorine silicone company's 100,000 tons of chloromethane completed a successful one-time trial operation. at the same time, the 100,000 tons of methane chloride and supporting 12,000 tons of tetrachloroethylene of the fluoro silicone company was also successfully tested simultaneously. the 300,000 ton organic silicone project was successfully put into operation, enhancing dongyue's strength and position in the market, scale, and technology. the production of 100,000 tons of chloromethane and 100,000 tons of methane chloride by shandong dongyue fluo-silicon materials co., ltd. not only provides sufficient raw material guarantee for the efficient operation of 300,000 tons of organic silicone monomer, but also plays a strategic role in extending, supplementing, and strengthening the entire industrial chain of the group, which has important strategic significance for the future development of the group.

on december 7, 2021, shandong dongyue fluorine & silicon material co., ltd. was successfully approved as a national high-tech enterprise. by that time, all six major enterprises in the park and inner mongolia dongyue jinfeng fluorine chemical co., ltd. have been certified as high-tech enterprises, marking a new level for the group as a technology innovation oriented enterprise.

on august 31, 2021, the group successfully placed 145 million shares to raise hkd3.335 billion for the construction of the entire industrial chain of high-end materials such as 55,000 tons of pvdf, ptfe, and upstream refrigerants. on december 31, the construction of a new 10,000 ton pvdf project began. the successful private placement and spun-off listing of shandong dongyue organosilicon materials co., ltd. mark the group's entry into a new stage of "industrial   capital" development.

on may 29, 2019, “an ionic exchange membrane with high current efficiency and its preparation method and applications” successfully passed the expert review of the membrane industry association of china and was granted a gold award for invention patent. the new generation of chlor-alkali ionic membrane df2807 was successfully launched on the electrolysis tank of the shanghai chlor-alkali, opening a new era of high-quality market application for dongyue’s chlor-alkali membranes.

on december 7, 2018, dongyue’s chlor-alkali ionic membranes were selected into the achievement exhibition of the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up of the national museum of china. meanwhile, its chlor-alkali ionic membrane was listed as one of the 40 most influential events celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up in shandong province.

on november 1, 2018, chairman zhang jianhong attended a private enterprise symposium hosted by the general secretary xi jinping and was selected as one of the top 100 outstanding private entrepreneurs for the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up. he was also invited to participate in the celebration of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up held in the central government, and was unanimously elected as the first chairman of the shandong high-quality chemical industry alliance (sdhcia). these special honors highlight the outstanding contributions and positions of chairman zhang jianhong and the group in the 40th anniversary of china's reform and opening up. 

on may 18, 2018, then vice chairman of the chinese people's political consultative conference, wan gang led a delegation to conduct an on-site research on the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle technology innovation project in dongyue. he encouraged the company to further expand the application and r&d of membranes, improve its product competitiveness.

at the 12th national congress of the all-china federation of industry and commerce (acfic) held from november 24 to 27, 2017, chairman zhang jianhong was unanimously elected as the vice chairman of the acfic.

on august 24, 2017, with the approval of the provincial government, dongyue fluorosilicone material industrial park was officially renamed as zibo dongyue economic development zone. the development environment and elements of the park have been better improved and focused, creating better conditions for the group to achieve its billion-level goals.

on june 30, 2017, the "china fluorine & silicon industry development conference and 30th anniversary celebration" of the group was successfully held. at the conference, dongyue group's intelligent control center was put into use, "management revolution" was first released, the conference declaration was released, a batch of cultural products were published, and the group's 30th anniversary celebration series greatly enhanced dongyue's industry status and social image.

on december 2, 2016, mike sykes smith, the head of afcc's r&d department, made a special trip to china to present a technical compliance award to dongyue for its fuel cell membranes. dongyue’s fuel cell membrane has passed all afcc technical evaluations, with a service life of 6,000 hours, making it one of the two global enterprises that meet the standards.

in 2016, as a representative of fluorosilicone new materials, dongyue was selected into the one hundred national pilot demonstration enterprises for intelligent manufacturing. this marks that the group has achieved advanced levels of intelligent informatization in china through several years of benchmarking and learning from formosa plastics. as a result, intelligent informatization has become another brilliant business card for dongyue in addition to that of technological innovation.

on september 22, 2014, at the 5th national outstanding professional and technical talent recognition conference, the group's fluorine containing functional membrane material innovation team was awarded the honor of "national advanced collective of professional and technical talents". chairman zhang jianhong was invited to attend the conference and received the award.

on december 16, 2013, the all-china federation of industry and commerce, the ministry of human resources and social security, and the all-china federation of trade unions awarded the group the honor of "national advanced private enterprise in employment and social security". on december 18, the china entrepreneur development federation, the china economic herald of the ndrc, and atv asia in hong kong awarded the group the title of "excellent brand enterprise in china".

on november 27, 2013, dongyue signed a contract with afcc, a joint venture between mercedes benz and ford, to jointly develop ionic exchange membranes for future mass production of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles by the two major automotive giants.

on october 29, 2012, the ho leung ho lee foundation 2012 annual award conference was held in diaoyutai state guesthouse in beijing. dr. zhang yongming won the 2012 ho leung ho lee foundation science and technology progress award for his special contributions to china's chlor-alkali ionic membrane, future new energy utilization and new materials, and spoke on behalf of all the winners at the award conference.

on the morning of february 14, 2012, the central committee of the communist party of china and the state council held a grand national science and technology award conference in beijing. the groups’ perfluorinated ionic membrane project won the state technological invention award, and professor zhang yongming attended the meeting and received the award on behalf of the group. after the industrialization of perfluorinated ionic membranes in domestic market, with strong support from relevant national departments and industry associations, they have been successfully applied in 8 chlor-alkali enterprises, including shanghai chlor-alkali, cnsig inner mongolia chemical industry, lubei chemical, and jsgc zhangjiagang co., ltd. all data keeps stable during operation. the success in the industrialization technology of the domestic perfluorinated ionic membranes has transformed china from a world chlor-alkali big country to a chlor-alkali powerhouse. as a result, the ndrc has decided to phase out asbestos diaphragm chlor-alkali production capacity within five years and transform all of them into advanced ionic membrane chlor-alkali equipment. this will have significant implications for improving efficiency, energy-saving, and emission reduction in china's domestic industries.

on october 1, 2011. phase i project of the group’s public rental housing with an investment of rmb50 million was put into use, and nearly 1000 employees have moved into their new homes. public rental housing will become an important measure for the company to stabilize its workforce and attract talents.

on july 1, 2011, at the conference to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the cpc, the group's party committee was commended as the "national advanced grass roots party organization". in september of the same year, the group’s party committee was further awarded the title of "national non public owned enterprise double strong party organization".

in april 2011, dongyue’s perfluorinated ionic membrane engineering technology research team was commended by the ministry of science and technology of china and awarded the "excellent team award for the implementation of the national science and technology plan during the 11th five year plan".

in april 2011, on the 12th china chloro-alkali forum which was held in ningbo, the technical roadmap for the chlor-alkali industry during the "12th five year plan" period was depicted. the industrial application of ionic membranes, the development of low mercury catalysts, and the industrial application of oxygen cathode ionic membrane electrolysis tank technology listed as the three technologies in the chlor-alkali industry during the "12th five year plan" period.

in march 2011, the group’s perfluorinated ionic membrane was listed in the book “compilation of achievements from the national major science and technology achievements exhibition during the 11th five year plan period”. the book was jointly compiled by 11 departments including the ministry of science and technology, the organization department of the central committee of the cpc, the national development and reform commission, the ministry of finance and so on. it carefully organizes nearly 400 major scientific and technological achievements during the 11th five year plan period. at the same time, dongyue’s ionic membrane research team was recognized by the ministry of science and technology of the people’s republic of china as the "excellent team for implementing the science and technology project in the national 11th five year plan".

in 2010, dyr-3 refrigerant was successfully granted the international number r439a and the excellent award of the state technological invention award, and quickly entered the market.

between june and july 2010, zibo municipal party committee and government listed chairman zhang jianhong as a major publicity model in the city. dazhong, luzhong morning news, and major media outlets in the city conducted centralized publicity and coverage of zhang jianhong's deeds, and various units carried out the study of chairman zhang jianhong's deeds through symposiums and other forms. 

on june 30, 2010, dongyue’s ionic membrane was successfully applied in a 10,000-ton chlor-alkali production plant.

on september 22, 2009, dongyue ionic membrane, which had undergone eight years of scientific research and engineering technology development, successfully went offline and presented a generous gift to the 60th anniversary of the people’s republic of china, marking the industrialization of china's chlor-alkali ionic membrane.

in november 2008, along with 24 enterprises such as haier, hisense, shengli oilfield, state grid shandong electric power company, and tsingtao, the group was awarded the highest honor - "shandong province meritorious enterprise in the 30 years of reform and opening up". on december 5th, the group was further awarded the title of "top 100 leading brands in shandong in the 60 years of new china".

on september 26, 2008, the group’s technology center was recognized as the 15th batch of national recognized enterprise (group) technology center by the ndrc, ministry of science and technology, ministry of finance, general administration of customs and state taxation administration.

on december 10, 2007, the group was listed on the main board of hkex. from december 20 to december 26, the company invited and organized over 700 important customers to participate in the listing celebration party at its headquarters, shanghai, guangzhou, yangzhong, wenzhou, wuhan, and other places, which received a warm response in the market. the listing in hong kong became an important step in the internationalization of dongyue and opened up a broader space for the development of the enterprise.

on november 25, 2007, phase i of the group’s 30 tons organic silicon project was successfully put into production and produced qualified products, creating three most in the industry: the fastest construction, the shortest trial operation period and the highest product quality. this marks the official entry of the group into the silicone material industry. at present, the total amount of organic silicon monomers in the group has reached 600,000 tons.

on june 29, 2007, the group organized a grand celebration for its 20th anniversary. central ministries, provincial, municipal, and county party and government leaders, as well as over 1000 leaders from over 50 famous foreign enterprises, 300 famous domestic enterprises, and universities, gathered in dongyue to celebrate the festival with dongyue’s executives and employees. at the celebration ceremony, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the establishment of the dongyue research institute. at the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the group, artists such as yan weiwen and cai guoqing presented a magnificent cultural feast to all executives, employees, and local cadres and masses.

on may 8, 2007, the 1.5 tons ahf project of inner mongolia dongyue jinfeng fluorine chemical co., ltd. was put into production, marking an important step for dongyue's external investment.

in 2006, with the official approval of the state, dongyue fluorine & silicon material industrial park was established, becoming the first professional fluorine & silicon material park in china. at the same time, dongyue park was named "patent park in shandong province".

on december 4, 2006, dongyue park was recognized as one of the first batch of 18 “national innovation bases for promoting trade through science and technology” in china by the ministry of science and technology and the ministry of commerce, the only one in shandong province. these 18 parks have obvious advantages in innovation capacity, export scale, and industrial cluster construction among their peers in china.

the group has ranked 4th among the top 500 technology competitiveness of major chinese enterprise groups, standing at forefront of national top enterprises. on september 20, 2006, the national bureau of statistics announced the ranking of the 2006 top 500 science and technology competitiveness of chinese enterprise groups, with the group in the 4th position. in 2010, the company soared to the 25th place in the top 100 enterprises in chemical industry in china.

on september 6, 2006, the state council held a chinese famous brand award ceremony at the great hall of the people. the trademark "dongyue federation" was recognized as famous trademark of china, and the "dongyue federation" green refrigerant was awarded the title of china top brand. this is the first brand to win the double titles in the industry. 

on may 12, 2006, together with nippon steel corporation and mitsubishi corporation, the company held a grand signing ceremony at zibo century hotel for the cdm environmental protection project. on february 1, 2007, the project was completed and out into production. this is the largest clean development mechanism project in the world to date, known as a "forestation project".

on november 2, 2005, the "investment attraction and new product promotion conference for dongyue international fluor silicon material industrial park" hosted by the zibo municipal government was held in hong kong, with sally wu, a famous hostess of phoenix tv in hong kong, invited as the guest hostess. this is the first time that the company has presented its international image and market position to customers and society through the concept of an industrial park.

from august 24 to august 25, 2005, the "2005 china fluor silicon material development seminar", organized by the company and themed on "communication, competition, and technological innovation" was held in dongyue. tan zhuzhou, then honorary chairman of cpcif, meng quansheng, then vice chairman of cpcif, and yue rundong, then chairman of cafsi, as well as experts from the organic fluorine and organic silicon industries and representatives of various enterprises attended the meeting. during the meeting, participating leaders and experts consulted on the company's 11th plan and provided valuable opinions and suggestions for the future development of dongyue.

from august 7 to august 8, 2005, supported by all-china federation of industry and commerce, sponsored by chinese academy of productivity science and china business times, and co-organized by media organizations such as cctv, brtv, china business journal, china business post, china quality daily, ta kung pao in hong kong, international business and sina.com.cn, the event of “brand china - chinese brands going global in 2005” announced its selection results. the brand of “dongyue federation” was granted with the “chinese brand international market competitiveness award” and chairman zhang jianhong was awarded the “top ten outstanding figures in the international market of chinese brands”. 

in november 2004, the three major projects of chloromethane, chlor-alkali, and thermoelectric power of shandong dongyue fluorine & silicon material co., ltd. were successively put into production, extending the industry chain of the company's products. moreover, it marked the official opening of the fluorosilicon material industrial park that the company was preparing to construct.

on january 13, 2004, chairman zhang jianhong was awarded the title of the first china petroleum and chemical industry influencer.

at 18:00 on april 23, 2002, the 3000 ton polytetrafluoroethylene project was officially put into production, ending the history of low-grade and small-scale production in china. after the project was put into production, the company successively expanded the 6,000 ton and 10,000 ton projects. the 20,000 ton polytetrafluoroethylene project, which was listed as a national key torch plan, was put into production in september 2006.

on february 19, 2001, chairman zhang jianhong of the group and professor zhu mingshan of tsinghua university attended the national science and technology award conference held by the cpc central committee and the state council in the people's congress. "dongyue tsinghua green environmental refrigerant" won the state technological innovation award.

in 1998, dongyue and tsinghua university collaborated to successfully develop a series of green and environmentally friendly refrigerant products with independent intellectual property rights, which became a green "environmental label" product granted by the national environmental protection agency and a product approved and recognized by the usepa's significant new alternative program (snap program).

in october 1995, under the leadership of li shucai and zhao sufang, the import and export department acquired the first export contract for directly exporting 20 tons “magnesium fluorosilicate” to huashi corporation in the usa. from then on, dongyue’s products began to enter the international market.

in december 1993, upon the approval of the municipal administration for industry and commerce, huantai branch of jinan chemical plant was renamed as “zibo dongyue fluorine chemical co., ltd”, and on october 27, 1994, the "1995 zibo dongyue fluorine chemical co., ltd. economic and trade negotiation conference and enterprise renaming and establishing ceremony" was held. from then on, dongyue began to operate independently from jinan chemical plant.

on may 1, 1993, the company’s newly introduced 3,000 ton refrigerant r22 project was put into production successfully. the launching of this project opened up a new era for the company's leading product series of green and environmentally friendly refrigerants. at present, the company's green and environmentally friendly refrigerant product scale has exceeded 500,000 tons.

on july 01, 1987, the company's predecessor, huantai branch of jinan chemical plant, was officially established. on the same day, the "anhydrous hydrogen fluoride project" furnaces #1 and #2 with an annual output of 1,200 tons were officially put into production. after 36 years of development, they have now reached 210,000 tons and have successfully built factories in other places.

on february 22, 1987, chairman zhang jianhong led 38 members, so called “first term class of huangpu” of the company to visit jinan chemical plant for study. he also took the lead in dismantling the two sets of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride converters with an annual output of 1,200 tons and transporting them back for installation.
